Intro: I know that Christmas can be a sentimental time. We live in a culture that keeps trying to ignore Jesus Christ and the Word of God. Here are the results of this type of faulty thinking:There is more than one way to GodThe gospel is too exclusiveGod is a loving God and won’t send anyone to hellOrthodox Christianity is arrogantOur culture and some religions want all of us to adapt a view that God is ok with anything. All you have to do is live a good life…whatever that means Would you agree that we live in confusing and uncertain times:Health concernsEconomic concernsPolitical concernsTheological concerns Jesus “I Am” statement in John 14 clearly tells us the He is fully God and fully man. It also is clear that there is only one way and one way only to be right with God the Father. Jesus Gives Assurance During Uncertain and Confusing Times v. 1-4Assurance and peace and comfort come by trusting God the Father and God the SonJesus brings peace through His promisedJesus Is the Only Way to God the Father v. 5-14″I am the way and the truth and the life.
