Handling the Word of God in this way brings thanksgiving and positive influence. There are four principles that will help a person to become a person of godly influence.

1. Receive the Word
1. It is preached and offered
2. It is expounded, made clear

2. Accept the Word
1. There needs to be open spiritual ears
2. There needs to be a realization the the Word of God is supernatural

3. Digest the Word
1. Read
2. Meditate

4. Apply the Word
1. Now change can happen from the inside out
2. Changed life
