Intro: You hopefully noticed that the title of this message is, “Jesus Is Coming! So What?”. That is to say should the Second Coming of Christ have an influence on the way we live today? The follow up question is, does the Second Coming of Christ influence the way we live?

Remember God’s Word

God’s Word should stimulate wholesome thinking
2.
We are to remember Jesus’ Second coming
2.
Prepare for People Who Ridicule God’s Word

This is a sign that Jesus coming is soon
2.
Scoffers are doubters

1.
Their motives are always evil
2.
They will disregard God’s Word
3.
Understand God’s Timing and Grace

1.
God’s timing is not our timing
2.
God is always on time
3.
God’s Love and Grace are always evident
4.
Live Holy Lives e.g. This Ought to Be the So What?

Live lives that bring honor and glory to God

1.
Pursuing holiness in the strength of the Holy Spirit
2.
Love others with the love of Christ
3.
Share the good news with the love of Christ
4.
Don’t get lazy
