It is human nature to look at history and try to find villains and heroes. As Deacon Angelo DeFranza continues our series in Genesis, we see that there are no clear villains or heroes in the story of Isaac, Rebekah, Esau and Jacob. What we see are humans living their lives sometimes in their own power and sometimes in God’s power. We also see that God chooses people, such as Jacob, not because of anything they do, but because of God’s divine calling.
