In our culture today, many feel there is no need for marriage. Commonly I will hear we don’t need a piece of paper to prove we love each other. We forget that God ordained marriage as a sacred commitment between Husband and wife and Jesus Christ. Remember this phrase that is used in Genesis and then repeated by Jesus, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and  mother and cling to his wife. What, therefore, God has joined  together, let no man put asunder e.g. tear apart!”

There are many misconceptions about marriage. For example, many people enter into marriage for very wrong reasons;

To get out of the house

Thinking you can change your fiancé

A pregnancy

Solely for physical attraction

For financial security

Believing your fiancé can meet all your needs

And more bad reasons
