I would like to share an incident that happened to me when I was a guest speaker at a church in my home town, Rutherford, NJ. When we make assumptions, they are usually wrong. Misunderstanding can result in unnecessary conflict and harming reputations. Why does it seem that we tend to believe rumors and gossip in our culture without asking some key critical questions?
