Someone once said. “Pride is like a beard. It just keeps growing. The solution? Shave it every day. Again, another person stated, “Pride is the only disease known to man that makes everyone sick except the one who has it.”

Solomon wrote in Proverbs 16:16-20, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD.

Daniel 4 has an essential message for King Nebuchadnezzar and us today. Beware of pride in our lives! Pride is the root of all sin and will always result in destruction.
