Intro:  It seems to me that with all the good technology we have in our current culture, we are are communicating more poorly than ever before. What do I mean by that? It seems that when something is communicated these day over the media, we are either getting the story out of context or a very incomplete story to fit some bad agenda. It also seems that, in general, people are more likely to believe a lie than the truth. Rather than looking to the truth of Scripture, people would rather look to other people or things who will propagate information in order to manipulate and takes advantage of you because they desire control or power. In this passage, Dr. Luke gives us two warnings about two dangers of which we need to be aware. The first warning is about the danger of an incomplete gospel. The second danger is a warning about the danger of superstitions.
