Sometimes we backslide in our spiritual walk.  In this week’s sermon, we see Jacob facing a situation where he goes his own way rather than rely on God.  In the process, Jacob misses an opportunity to restore a relationship with his brother and puts his family in danger.  Pastor Lou also gives us guideposts that help us realize when we may be on the path to backsliding.
