“Be Faithful, No Matter What!” Revelation 2:8-11
Sometimes, when you and I go through very difficult times in our lives, God will connect us with another person who has gone through the same thing. When this connection is with another born again believer, it is an opportunity for us to hear their testimony of how God helped them to remain faithful through the storm. Isn’t wonderful that Jesus can identify with us because He experienced all sorts of suffering while He walked this earth. Let’s talk about when the church experiences persecution and difficult circumstances. Jesus’ promise is that He will help us to be faithful to Him even through the suffering if we obey Him in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The church at Smyrna was being persecuted for their faith on Christ. Yet, even through intense persecution, the church remained faith to Christ. They were blessed by Christ for their faithfulness!
